Lake Titicaca Tours
Though the towns surrounding the lake are pleasant to visit, the islands are without a doubt Titicaca’s main tourist draw. You can set up half-, full- or multi-day tours online before you begin your trip, or in person once you get to Bolivia—check with agencies in La Paz or along 6 de Agosto in Copacabana. While touring Lake Titicaca you will have a number of options: you can visit one or more of the islands, you can go with or without a guide (who may or may not speak English); you may have the opportunity to book with other groups to cut costs or you can hire privately. It is important to note however, that aside from the high-end Crillon Tours, most operations are pretty basic.
